This is Nowhere is a five-piece band from Salonica, Greece, known for their genre-blending sound that spans noise, blues, experimental, and psych rock.

Since their formation in 2009, they have evolved their style to include elements of dub and shoegaze, enriched with layers of bass and atmospheric effects. As they moved towards colder soundscapes, they introduced synths and theremins into their work, reflecting a diverse range of influences in a minimalistic style. The band continues to explore the post-hardcore spectrum, and their latest recordings further showcase their innovative approach.

Their latest LP, Waiver (2024), while still hallucinatory, sounds like their most extroverted album so far. In Waiver, This is Nowhere change tact and make their way back into the earth's atmosphere. They retain many aspects of their expansive and doom-inspired psych, while evolving into a more pronounced vision of where experimental rock can be taken. Waiver displays their unique style and succeeds in showing an expanded understanding of the band.
